I have a Philips Plasma 42pf7320a/37 that will not turn on. It blinks out a code 7 on the front panel. I removed the rear cover and checked the power supply for bad capacitors and did not find any. The power supply has a module on it with a green light that blinks 3 time indicating a vscan error. I started unplugging items until the light stopped blinking and the power supply stayed on. It seem when I disconnect the flat cable from the Y-Main to the Logic Main the codes on the front panel and power board stop blinking. I reattached the cable and removed the cables from the logic main one at a time and the codes reappeared every time. Only when I disconnect the Y-Main from the Logic Main does the service codes stop and power supply stay on. Does this indicated a bad Logic Main or am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
