Just read another forum - R3340 - swap it out for a 1/2W 10 ohm resistor - take that 1/3rd ohm out. |

Sounds like a power supply problem or HV shutdown. The shutdown circuit may have a defective diode or transistor making it shut down on its own. |

Did You ever get an answer or figure out what the problem is I have the same problem with mine. It will come on and go back off sometime it will stay on long enough for the picture to come in then go off. |

I have a Philips Magnavox TS2744 C123, chassis 27B800-7562. When I turn it on the green LED comes on and then the TV immediately shuts off. I don't see any singed components on the main board or the CRT board. Perhaps a voltage regulator or rectifier? Any ideas? |
