| it's possible you may have a bad speaker or output ic in the deck. do you notice if the deck is getting really warm????????? |

It is a stock radio in a 2002 neon. No name on it or in the manual. |

| When I turn my car on the radio comes on but within five to ten seconds the sound turns off. There is still power and if I hit a preset button it shows the new station but no volume. If I turn the radio off and back on it will come back on for five to ten seconds then shut off. Very rarely it will come on and stay on for the better part of the day then shut off. Hitting a bump, cornering and weather do not seem to effect it. |
