Start by checking the power supply buses. Check voltages with a DVM and compare to the S/M values. Check all filter capacitors on the buses for high ESR. If you don't have a capacitor ESR tester, use an O-scope and look for ripple on the buses. Sorry, that is all I can suggest. |

| Hi,
My KD36XS955 has been trouble-free for 4 years.Today when viewing ATSC and QAM HD channels (720P & 1080i) the picture is very dark and reddish looking. All 480i channels look good.I dont have blue ray or other HD source to try.I tried cycling the power (unplugged) on the set. There is some code on the opening page of the Service Menu: F/A: 11111111 11111111 CBA: 11111111 00110001. I have the service manual, but I don't have a clue what to do about the problem.Please help.
