Thanks.
If anyone else has a "useful" suggestion, one that might involve experience with this particular issue I would appreciate it. I am more interested in knowing if I should be checking settings or looking for component issues. I have plenty of experience replacing caps and chips, just not on TV's. Closest I have come to troubleshooting a tv was to recap my Donkey Kong Jr arcade monitor. And even then it was more of a shotgun"replace 'em all" approach.
It really was a genuine question, I just do not appreciate answers like that. |

Troubleshoot the issue.
Locate the defective part(s).
Find/order/install replacement part(s).
Problem solved. |

I have a Toshiba 32A10, chassis number TAC0019. It has served the family well all these years and now has a picture issue. I believe it is called pincushion. The sides are pinched in about 1 1/2 " or so. Is this a common issue, and is it relatively easy to repair? |
