| you can try resoldering the pins. if it doesnt recognize the pen drive at all its usualy the crystal an if it cant read it its the memory which you can not replace. Anyway its not worth repairing. |

| it probably needs soldering ,pins on board inside usually not making contact due to bending |

Hi.
Any tips would be appreciated on repairing USB pen drives?
A friend of mine has just presented me with their broken pen drive.It does,nt look broken but the computer can,t read the info and the LED does,nt come on. Any ideas?
