The chirping sound is when the switch mode power supply is unable to start up. It is usually caused by dried up capacitor(s) in the front end. |

im new to tv repair cause my own tv is down but im nearly sure i read somewere that its a capacitor dont they take me up on that cause as i say im a technician but take the back cover of and see were the noise is coming from be very careful cause there is very high voltage in there |

My tv is making a bird sound even when it is off until i unplug it and then it quits. when i re plug it it starts again.... what is happening? |
