| They were known for having bad conn on Eprom IC which will give the same symptoms OR it can be caused by power supply failure which requires a VOM & familiarity of how to use.
Try resoldering the surface mount EProm IC on main digital pcb. (can't recall the number, i think IC206?? -- it is a 44 pin IC located on the rt corner of the MB digital pcb looking from the front/top---provided you are familiar with soldering |

| Have an older sony model #dvp-S330 dvd player.
It will not work. Push power button on remote or player, LED light turns green, then immediately changes to red shuts off. Anyone able to help me with this? Is there some fuse or solders area that needs to be replaced or soldered? Have soldering gun and can redo, if someone can guide me of where to find the area on the power board, or which ever board needs a fix.  |
