Diode is good if on the diode test of DVM, you get a infinite reading hooking up leads one way, and a reading with leads reversed. May want to "float" one end of diode to be sure.  |

I think its the diode in seires with the fuse, when i test the diode one way i get 0V and the other way i get .527V does that sound right? |

Just measure positive to ground. If zero see if unit has any "reverse protection diode" or (unlikely) MOV, etc. Otherwise, you have a over load somewhere else in unit. |

I have a audiovox DVD player that goes in a car. I found out the fuse was bad and replaced but as soon as i hooked it back up it blow again, what something i should test first to find the problem? |
