Hi the part is called a Ribbon cable but it would not be a seperate item it would be attached at point of manufacture , so I am guessing whatever caused the heat detached the cable . If so much heat was generated around this item or indeed by this item merely replacing it without diagnosing why it burned may cost you friutless time and money, maybe it's time to consult an expert of these type of systems ie the vehicle manufacturer for a service appointment .

It Trash Unless you have some very expensive precision equipment.
They don't come apart like that without a lot of help.
The TFT screen with the film attached would come as one assembly. |

I have a Optrex Monochrome screen that is out of a instrument cluster from a bus. The screen from the unit has a part that got burned but I dont know what the part is called. It's a small paper thin cable that connects from the lcd board to the actual glass screen. The screen is 160x128 and the actual paper has 128 lines in it. It has some sort of adhesive on both ends to stick to the actual boards.
