a friend of mine had me go on-line to get info on this problem . standby light flashes w/no sound nad no pic. "Sonys" website suggests restoring tv to factory settings, but , you may need the original remote. semms by depressing and holding down the reset button on remote, while turning tv off and on by using power button on tv set, then releasing the reset, should restore to factory setting. Just one catch, the remote is priced at $89.95 . you need to pull up Sonys sight and type in your set model number. He is going to purchase the remote! hope this helps ,or at least guides you in the right direction.  |

| 53 inch sony tv with no pic and no sound.the sandby light blinks 40 or 41 times. i know the problem is in the power supply but have no clue where to start.i never worked on a projection tv and i am looking for some help. i got the tv for free so i am trying to bring it back to life. any help would be great. email please siga [email protected] |
