Here I made a "manual" how to open the EX-F1 up to 80%.

http://ex-f1.de/viewtopic.php?t=401

Under the chip the filter unit is located. There is one switchable and one static filter on this small unit. One Screw will remove it, but it still hangs on the tiny wires.

You could remove it mechanicaly (outch). This is the only solution I know at the moment.

The manual (pictures and little text) is in german. Use google translater or whatever!
You can also ask me in the german forum (in english).
Good luck to you!

BTW: I am also interrested in the service manual because I want to fix a problem inside the optic of my EX-F1, but I dont know how to remove it. The cam is striped 80% but I got stuck there (behind the filter). No more reachable screws etc.

Please help me too!

I am looking for a Casio Ex-F1 Service Manual. I need to remove the internal filters because they interfere with a special external one I have installed. The internal ones can be disabled but one is always in place and that is the problem.

Even a guide on how-to remove the filters would also work.

Thanks for any help.
