Hello,
I finally got the new parts installed and everything back together. TV has been on for about an hour and so far all is good. You all have taught me something and saved me a bunch of money. But now the wife is mad because she's not getting a new tv. Any ideas for that?

| HI: I have a old Toshiba CFd50,I bought new a few years ago , it just stopped working. I had it set for a month,and then it worked for awhile, The relay clicks but the power light does not come on. What could this problem,and can it be fixed with in reason. "the set is dead no power."thanks" |

Man, I dunno... 3 fuses blown?? Did somebody drop a screwdriver in there?
Even with shorted convergence IC's , I've only seen one of the 24V lines blow a fuse. Most of the time the fuses are OK .
There must be more to this story...stay tuned! |

| Here's a clue, 2 of the fuses feed the convergence IC's.... Replace the 3 5 amp pico fuses and convergence ic's. |
