Well for the resistor chain that includes R5, starting at top, 90K then comes 9K, then comes R5, then comes 100 ohm - logic dictates that R5 units should be ohms (900 ohms).

R18 indicates 2K2W (2.2K ohm)

I was delighted to locate a data sheet for my MASTECH M-830b multimeter.
I have blown R5 and R18 and you had the perfect sheet to discover what values I need for replacing.

HOWEVER I was not able to read the values. I got 900 for R5 but not the units and R18 was totally unreadable.

I have sent emails to Hong Kong for values but they don't reply.

Yes I know this is a cheap meter but I like the challange!!
