Searching for my thread - welding inverter - I found your post about a High Voltage Unit for welding applications.
I think I can help you. Is it still of interest to you? |

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
Regarding your post - I dont know what is the output current rating. take into consideration that no current is drawn from the device - it's only purpose is to provide the spark.
Thanks
Avi
p.s. sorry for the new username - I was not able to login with the original one. |

What is the maximum output current requirement when the "arc" is taking place? That would give anyone able to help you a bit more information to go by. |

Hello
I have an odd question - I'm looking for a circuit diagram of a unit that will deliver about 2000vac at a frequency of about 50khz. the output current is very low. the unit serves as a high voltage/high frequency unit
that creates a spark to ignite the arc of a tig welding machine.
please let me know where it can be found so that I will be able to build it.
Thanks.
Avi
p.s. aby ideas will be welcomed. |
