[need dsl modem help]

I have had at&t dsl for about 2weeks now and it keeps dropping me offline. Sometimes it will stay connected for 10+ hours and other times it will drop 10 times in a hour or less and sometimes it takes 30min + to reconnect back.

I have a Motorola 2210-02 dsl modem that has default config. I have no home phone so i don't need filters and its only connected to 1 pc (wired)

vci = 35
Protocol= ppoe
Maximum allowable MTU=1492
ATM Encapsulation= LLC
Connection Type= connect on demand
Connection Timeout= 20 Minutes (only applies to 'Connect on Demand')
Let LAN device share Internet address? No, use private IP address
PPP is on the modem. This is the normal mode for this modem. The PPP session is initiated from the modem.
