I have had good luck with a range of them. Imation, Maxell, Verbatim etc.
Due to variations in manufacturing media products and finicky players/recorders, you may get different results. Also keep in mind that as your unit's optical mechanism gets older with age/use, you may experience erratic results in recordings. Here is an older posting but certainly valid;

I have been looking to burn some dvd-r's for my bose system recently, unfortunately, there does not seem to be enough information out there. I bought a cheap 100-pack of amazon basic dvd-r's, which frustratingly did not work. So before I go out and buy another pack, I was hoping I could get some suggestions as to which brands I should buy.
