Thanks for the diagnosis. Is it critical to use the same version as a replacement or can I use whichever one's available? I'm also thinking of buying another TV for parts. If I replace mine with another version's main board, which other boards will need replacing to make a working combination? |

| 4 blinks is a trident ic failure which is on the digital main board.

| When you try to turn the set on, there is a small patch of white flashing on the screen and then the unit shuts down and the power light flashes 4 times repeatedly. When you hit the power button, it just does the same things again. I tried replacing the T-Con board but no improvement. | |
