It's a shame that there was no answer for the original problem as I'm experiencing the same thing myself. Even with the volume switched off or muted there is a terrible hissing and crackling that kicks in a few minutes after switching on.
It can sometimes be remedied by powering off but it soon kicks in again.
The crackle aside, this is a great TV and it would be a shame to get rid of it; so any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I have the above model which has a problem with its sound. There is a loud crackle. The sound itself is not effected neither is the picture. The problem even occurs with the sound down.
How to fix please. |
