I did. No change.
Should I be able to see some kind of light coming from the laser? I see nothing there. |

| Even though the laser lens may look clean, you may want to clean the lens anyway. You can do this using a qtip and isopropyl alcohol. Be very gentle when doing this though as you may scratch the lens if you apply too much pressure on it. |

|
Hi,
I am trying to diagnose my Denon UCD F07 CD player which stopped playing CDs. I am thinking I may need a new laser unit but I am not sure.
If I do or not put a CD in the player behaves the same way - seems not knowing the CD is inside. I looked inside and the optics are perfect clean.
When I put a CD in, the drawer closes but the CD does not turn or spin and I do not hear any laser tracking movement. The display shows "LEADING" and that's it.
Are you able to suggest if the faulty laser unit may be the reason?
Thanks |
