Put a jumper wire across switch.
Probably won't change anything. Most likely a power supply failure. |

Yep! I suspected as much...
Just hoped there was a way to bypass the off/on switch? |

Have a 2-year old Magnavox DVD player/recorder that was working fine. Then one day would not turn on. So I bought another Magnavox VCR/DVD combo player/recorder machine. Within a year, same issue. Worked fine, then suddenly would not power up (not manually or with remote). I looked for fuses or reset buttons and found nothing, not even inside the case. Anyone know what the problem is with these machines? |
