| Usual symptom of power supply inverter failure, unit turns on, backlight and green power light, but no diagnostic screen and no video function. Is there a particular component that is know to fail on this particular, or other, inverters? Inverter is BENQ 48.LIE02.A02.
I have not visually inspected, hopefully its obvious which cap has failed, but I'm sure this issue has arisen previously. I do know cap failure on motherboards is usually the ones around the cpu chip, is there a similar situation where a particular cap is suspect just by what it does on these lcd inverters? |
