I have used Windas to make slight adjustments to the brightness on a Sony monitor in the past. I now would like to do the same with a Dell Ultrascan 17ES (circa 1994) model P1728E - I believe this is possible as a Mac style serial port is available on the back and the montor is controlled digitally internally.

I have looked for the model in Windas (v1, from gregua) but the 17ES is not listed. Does anyone know where I can find the Windas "driver" and possibly confirm the mini 8 pin DIN is a Mac style serial connection?
