Now you have everything you need to answer some of our questions and fix it yourself (except possibly test instruments and training). Wink

Googling the numbers off of transistors in question will let you find out if they are available and costs.

I have a SX550 that has blown the 4 amp fuses that feed the -30 volt as well as the 30 volt supply for the amps. I suspect that there is too many speakers on the output. Are the output transistors located on the back edge of the power supply section? Is there not any short circuit protection? Is the unit worth fixing, and can we still get the output transistors? I checked the current where the fuses were and the current is more than 10 amps w/o spkrs attached.

any easy fixes?
