| well I bought the TV pulled the main board flipped it over and found 1 bad solder joint on one of the convergence chips, really had no solder on it at all. the solder pad looks good, I guess I will try to re solder it and see what happens. |

| Have a guy locally wanting 40.00 for a 42" mitsubishi table top rear projection tv. He said it is only 6 yrs old so I was thinking a dlp maybe. did they stop selling the rear projection tvs then? He said the picture is reddish in color, and has a 3d effect. I have replaced convergence chips/resistors in a few projection tvs before and have fixed them. If this is a dlp tv does it sound like it could be something other than the convergence will the color wheel cause problems like this. Please help me decide to buy this or not. Thanks guys.. |
