| I'd have to agree with Gary. Once the screen has a crack, it's shot. Unless you can find another set with a good panel and bad boards for cheap, you'd be better off buying a new TV. | |

| it wont work, not seperate cells for each pixel, once the screen is cracked it needs to be replaced, also switching the set on to see if it works will in 99% of cases result in damaged buffer boards. | |

| Hi, Should the rest of the screen of a plasma tv with a small crack in only one section still work? ie, is the gas in each section kept in its own small compartment or will it all gradually leak out leaving a non-functional screen...thanks in advance once again. sparky ps-this is a rewording of a previous question which still puzzles me... |
