well then it could be the back light,and repair of that set could run you into 2 or 3 hundred dollars,and you should be able to find a repair shop anywhere arond where you live,.there is a board that is called the y-sus board they give you your contol of brightness on the screen so it could be one or the other, car |

it sounds like the back light or, the inverter boards could be your problem,.also, the ysus board will cause this too,. is this set a lcd or plasma |

I just took home a 60" LG 60PS60 from the amenity space at my job. They just replaced it with a brand new model and were going to throw it out so I figured id give it a shot to fix it.
One day it got all colorful and jumbled down the bottom half of the screen. Shortly after the entire screen went black and all I could hear was what was playing on the TV, so I have sound, just no screen.
I was wondering if anyone has had this happen before. I took off the back of the TV and made sure all of the connections are nice and tight but still no picture. Any information as to where I can look to get this repaired would be greatly appreciated.
