There should be voltage across the main smoothing capacitor ac input times 1.414, so if you have 120v ac then 120 x 1.414 = 169, almost 170V dc across the capacitor.... note I just plucked the 120 out of thin air, but you can see how its calculated. There will be internal fuses and maybe a fusible resistor, resistors that acts as fuses, so a meter and cold checking from the input to the rectifiers is a good start as a first step. But having said all that, you just might have a system that uses a standby power supply, and switches a rely to turn the main power supply ON, you need to determine which system you have since I don't know the model at hand.
