If it's a CRT monitor, replace the vertical output IC or transistor. I had the same problem with an AOC 15-inch monitor. |

the posibitily that it is a sriver problim is highly unlky
step 1 down load that manule
step 2 fix the power serply section that will get your menu back
step 3 stat checking that vertical section
if all elese fails get your self new one. |

just a thought have you made sure that if its a pc monitor that you are using the correct drivers for the monitor

I think the monitor is made by KDS and noticed the nanual is available from this site. Just type in kd1730 and download both parts and see if it is the same and concentrate on the frame circuit. |

im still troubleshooting the said monitor but when i tried to change a Capacitor on the power supply section the picture noticeably tilts, (i cant control it with the Menu) i tried to bring back the old one and it still the same any clues? |

All above answers are correct but do not be tempted to use while in this condition or further problems will follow and turn down the brightness/contrast or you will see a permanent line on the tube enen after a repair. |

excuse me for my bad english..
falt is in powers supply..
probably vert srage fault for low voltage (also horizzontal deflection is defective!!!)

You should check the stage of frame ( the coils, electrolyt cap. IC)
If you haven't due skills you ought to buy new LCD monitor. Regards |
