I AM SORRY I HAVE NO SERVICE INFO ON THAT CHASSIS ( GFL220E ). THERE IS A LARGE COIL SURROUNDING THE CRT, FOLLOW THE LEAD FROM THAT BACK TO THE MAIN PCB AND THE DEGAUSS THERMISTOR WILL BE VERY NEAR TO IT, PROBABLY VERY CLOSE TO WHERE THE MAINS INPUT FROM THE SW IS IN THE PSU, THE DEGAUSS THERMISTOR IS USUALLY A WHITE 3 PIN DEVICE. |

Gary, many thanks for the information! The TV is Philips 29'' Matchline idtv, model number 29PT9111/O1 (Belgian made). |
Sorry - I meant 29PT9111/01. |

|
Hello, the colors of a Philips 29'' Matchline idtv TV set are off: Where there was monochrome blue (e.g. when no reception) there are now concentric rings (green center, then red, then blue outer). On normal reception the colors are off, in a ringwise fashion, with the color pattern possibly related to the colors of the true picture.
Thanks in advance for any advice on this matter.
