I have the same thing happening and I'm thinking its just super dusty because there aren't any noticeable fuses that are blown on it, but it sounds like it might be a different issue all together?

Hi,
I have inherited an ancient Teac system but it won't power up and the manual is missing. I am the specs or where I can get them. The system is in beautiful condition and DID work perfectly before moving it here (500 mile trip).

The system;

Teac Stereo Hi-Fi System
Model # S100CD(M)
October 1987 (yes, I know it's ancient!)
Teac Turntable
Model# S-100CD(P2)
Quartz PLL Digital Synthesizer
AM/FM Tuner
DC Integrated Stereo Amplifier
Stereo Double Cassette Deck
Compact Disc Player

All components enclosed in open from stand with album storage below.

Teac Stereo Speakers
Model# LS-103

When I tried to power the system up, all the lights flashed once and there was a low pop from the speakers. After that, nothing. No lights or anything. There was no smoke or odor of burning electronics. There simply seems to be nothing wrong but it won't power up.

I can't find any reset or fuse. And I have tried other outlets! <grin>

Thanks for any help.
