| Picking up a tip from A N Other, I pressed Preset 1 and 4 and switched on: no change, pressed Preset 1 and FM: no change, in desperation pressed Preset 4 and FM: EUREKA!

| I have owned my Citroen Xantia 1.9TD Model SX from new 1996. The 3030 RDS audio system worked perfectly throughout until 6 months ago, when a local workshop fitted a new radiator to the car, disconnecting the battery.
On reconnection, the "mechanic" misread the instructions (Citroen supplied) and tried to enter the code (which I have), incorrectly, as for the 2030 model. The system locked up and nothing since has unblocked it. The screen display shows merely 4 interrupted lines, thus: -- -- -- --. How can I unblock it in order to re-enter the code? |
