Check for U33 on the mainboard. It is a small surface mounted transistor replace it and your television will work again

The other day i went to turn on my t.v and it did not turn on. The sound and the picture did not come up. There was no image on the screen, just the back light.
I tried turning it off with the control but i was unable to do so. The only way top turn it off was to pull the cord of the power outlet.
May someone please provide step by step instructions on how to resolve this issue? |
