You can upload an image as long as you log in with your registered name. I use photobucket but you can pretty much use any other. |

Hi and Thanks for your quick reply. I can try and locate a manual as for test equipment I have a multimeter and have no issues with soldering. After checking the psu further I noticed that a component is burned and a dark patch is on the underneath the pcb in the same area. Can I upload any images on this forum Grover |

I am not familiar with the specific unit but blowing a fuse could be a number of things. It could be something in the power supply itself(like you mentioned) OR it could be a problem with an audio channel(final output) which is common in audio. Without further testing &/or isolation of the circuit, you can't predict? Are you technically inclined? Any test equipment? Do you know how to solder? You can get a free service manual from elektrotanya.com |

|
Hi I have a Philips HTS 3115 Home Cinema with a PSU fault. When the plug is placed into the socket the internal fuse blows. I assume there is a short some where. Does anyone have any knowledge this fault and what the suspect parts which may require replacement? Any help on the matter is greatly appreciated Grover |
