| Maybe verticle collapse? Some T.V.'s shut the picture down so the tube doesn't get destroyed. |

I have a Sony GX900ES that I got from a friend. He said it didn't work and has been in his garage for a while. When you plug it in everything lights up but the display does not. Any ideas?
