It sounds like some filter capacitors have dried out and need replacing. The blown fuse means there is something else wrong now. Maybe the degaussing posistor is faulty? Or maybe the powersupply needs repairing?
You will need a meter to test it much further.

we went away on holiday and had switched the tv off at the wall when we come back and switched on again it worked for a couple off hours then went dead now it dosnt switch on we changed a blown fuse on the board and it blow again.
