BE WARNED !
Due to some minor but irritating problems I was advised to run a firmware upgrade.
Obtained this from the Sansung website. Copied the file to disc, put it in the recorder and it started upgrade.
Disc tray didn't open at the end as per the instructions but I just left it running.
Eventually it shut itself down.
Now it won't start up - just displays "LOAD" on the display. Tried unplugging it for an hour but still sits there with LOAD when trying to power up. Left it off for 24 hours same.
Sansung are not interested since its not under warantee - despite the fact that their firmware has caused this. Their agents want £$60 just to investigate !! m Stay clear of this firmware and/or Samsung
