Philips DVD951 cant read discs.

When i put a disc it READ..READ..READ..NO DISC.
I've already clean the lens.
The voltages of PSU:

EH-B=0208

+12=11.6v
+5Vstby=4.7v
-40=-38.5v



EH-B=0205

3V3=3.23v
+5=4.7
+6Vstby=5.5v
-5 , -8Stby =-9.3v


Also on the Basic Engine Board ,BA5938FM and BA6856FP goes very hot!
Any opinions??

Probably needs the optic assembly replaced. Some of the optics run you more than buying a new unit.

The fact that the logic ic,s are running hot means they are faulty, usually due to spin motor u/s, due to dry bushes. Sometimes, by unplugging spin motor, lubing with thin oil, applying 5v from a batt in both directions, till freed up, can resurrect spin motor. However, if still no work in circuit-ie no disc- can r/p c,s- if can find supplier!.
