Hi guyz
I have the above TV that is dead apart from a continuous squeak. I have replaced the power supply kit but it has changed nothing. Is there someone who can point me in the right direction.
Kindest regards

Could you check if the PSU is squeeking, due to a short in the primairy side of the mainboard?
Often a short in the secondairy "side" makes the PSU go into a repeating shutdown/start-up sequence, and this generates a squeeking/high pitching sound!

Hi m8 thanks for your time
I'm not sure I understand what you mean, if you could be a little more specific it will be very much appreciated.
As metioned in my original post I have replaced the various components that comes with the psu mod kit.

(BTW like the name, love the program. Watching the repeats religiously at the moment) |

Start by checking the largest transitors near the flyback trafo (called HOT, used for H-deflection and/or highvoltage), for any short.
If there is a short there (secondary to the PSU), the powersupply will go into a shutdown/startup sequence!
