Ground a screw driver, remove the anode lead from the crt, unsolder the pins underneath, and pull out the screen and focus wires.

Well thanks but now Im not so sure its the flyback transformer I have all kindsa voltages on bottom of circuit board where its soldered on to.I pulled out the rubber boot from top of tube and fired Tv up I could hear a buzzing and could smell like a ozone gas so I think that its okay? Not 100 % sure dunno how can I check it to ground? I saw some utube videos and I saw a guy playing with 1 and I could see the arc jumping across whatever he was holding it to maybe like a ground point? Thanks any help would be great
