Hey guys

I just joined up here. I was given a LG plasma t.v (42PC3D) because the screen stopped working, there is sound. A tech came over to my friends house and checked it all out. He said one of boards was pretty much dead. one of the 2 fuses (4amp 250v) in the board was blown but was replaced and still did not work.

He gave me this part number to order: 31419MF993A. I was able to find it real cheap but i am not sure how to take it out. Is there a service/repair manual for this T.V set? I did a search and came up with nothing.

If you look at this T.V from behind with back off, It's the smaller board to the right side. Is there and soldering required as well?

If anyone has any other ideas as to if this should fix it please let me know.
