to open the laptop remove all screws at the base , then lie the lid so its flat and the shoulders should be loose. They come off and the darks silver suround is clipped in. Just prise it off. |

When you say the shoulders come loose, this isn't apparent. There are some small screws embedded in the top. Do these need to be undone first (there seems no easy way to fully access them)? Also, the dark silver surround seems incredibly resistant to coming off. I'm concerned that it's attached to import parts of the computer. Please help with this. Many thanks. |
