Hello. I am technically retarded, so bear with me. I just inherited a 52" Toshiba projection tv that is about 8-10 years old. Over the past 6 months or so, it has been developing a problem with curved colored lines. It doesn't happen until the tv is fairly warm (1+ hours of use) and starts at the top of the screen. You get blue, red, and green curved lines with the ends pointed down. When the problem started, it only affected the very top part of the screen, now it affects about 3/4 of the screen from the top down.

Any thoughts? Is this worth fixing? Or should I just limit my tv time to an hour or so until it dies?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

Don’t forget to check the resistors around them.
