|
|
Hi, hope somebody can help me out here. I've been given the a Sony KLV-S26A10E LCD television but the screen is not displaying any red, makes the screen look like it has a blueish hue.
Any ideas what could be wrong with it and can it be fixed? Ideally by myself. Pretty good at fixing things and soldering etc wont be a problem if I can find the cause.
All the best

Revieved!! Thanks very much.
Can't see any info in there related to the lack of red on the display though. I've actually got hold of another LCD, exactly the same model but the display is totally knackered. If I swap the displays over, do you think it's possible that one of them may work?
Cheers

Bad digital main board or t-con board. |

I'm guessing the t-board would be the TU board in the service manual. What would the main board be? Listed in the manual are boards - A3U, G2, TU, H1, H2, H3 and G3.

T-con is the top board, digital main has the component/composite jacks and tuner usually. |
