HI IM WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD HELPME, I HAVE JUST REPAIRED MY TV. IT HAD THE USUAL SWITCHING OF AND ON PROBLEM AND A PROBLEM WITH THE PICTURE BEING VERY BRIGHT OR OVER CONTRASTED,, I HAVE SORTED THAT BY RE SOLDERING VARIOUS COMPONENTS AND THAT SEAMS TO HAVE WEEDED OUT THE DRY JOINT.. THE PROBLEM IS THAT ALTHOUGH THE TV NOW WORKS OK IT HAS NOW GOT A TINGE OF GREEN IN TOP CORNERS( DOES IT NEED DE-MAGNETIZING OR SOMETHING AND CAN IT BE DONE EASILY) PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.. THANKS KEITH

demagnetise crt or live tv off for 1hrs and switch it no it should be ok

Did you remember to re-connect the degauss coil after you'd had the chassis out?
