Mitsubishi WS 55711 DEAD

The WS 55711 will not turn on. The LED on the front will flash when the TV is reset. All the standby voltages are present. It appears the something is telling the processor on the singal board not to turn on the TV. Any ideas?

First check the vertical output IC for poor solder connections and check for leaky capacitors ( look for oily film or dark stuff under and around capacitors, when heated with soldering iron will smell like fish ) I have found many leaky caps on these sets causing shut down problems.
