I am having the same problem everyone else is having with this tv. Power light blinks three times and then nothing. I had it repaired once already and now it is doing it again. I am wondering if there is a check that I can do with a DMM and confirm that this is the problem before I order the part. Also a thanks to minnie in advance as it was one of your answers that led me to locating that part and finding it online.

Standard repair again. Replace the flyback and check the horizontal output transistor for shorts. They sell a flyback tester but its not worth buying one anymore.

Thanks for the help. Don't suppose you know of a good place to get a service schematic for this tv do you?

I changed out the flyback and the transistor has no shorts in it. Any other ideas as to what could be wrong with?

If possible could you tell me the board number for the HOT transistor to make sure I am testing the correct transistor?
