|
|
Philips MATCH///Line Classic TV
Circa 1993,4,5??
Model 28CL6770/252
Made in Belgium
Prod. No. AG109635350721
Would like to tweak up the screen height a little, but cannot find an adjustment in either the on-screen menus, or physically on the board.
Problem, too-wide black bands at top & bottom of picture. Picture's otherwise perfect.
Is there a hidden maintenance section in the on-screen menus & if so how would one get into it; or, is there an unmarked pot on the board that could be tweaked.
Thanks for any suggestions in advance, |

Not the required info but a reference to the set;
28cl677025z
25z, not 252 at the end of the model no. |

Came across these tips for FL1.10 chassis;
Quote: |
Picture height cannot be adjusted in 21" sets.
- Replace R3409 into 300k (4822 116 52268) on the LSP. REMARKS : Introduced in production in week 9335.

Picture height not adjustable very well
- Change R3409 on the LSP into 270 kOhm (4822 116 52265). REMARKS : Introduced in production in week 9412
|
I couldn't find any option to adjust the picture height at all - so does the first tip magically cause an extra menu option to appear or something?
Or does it mean you're out of luck if your set was made before 'week 9335'... |

I have or can source manuals for most common office phone systems btw, if anyone's looking to trade. |

This set finally died today. Power at wall outlet, fuse in plug OK. No response from set to any attempt to turn on, just sits there like a lemon. Do these sets commonly suffer from something simple like a blown internal fuse? |
