got the tv working properly again. thanks jaeverelec and jts1957 for providing great leads...you folks tipped me off to changes that needed to be done in service menu....
And Justmanuals, thanks but no thanks...got the service manual for free on this very site! |

| the problem was with the setting for one of the system options...specifically S47 (APC CLK)...value had to be changed from 000 to 001 |
