I just received an email with the following message that I have attached. I am not sure when the last time I was even on your website or forum. And how would you know if there is a virus on my pc anyways? I am having no problems at all. If you need to delete me from your site that is fine but I feel I am wrongly accused. And the link for your virus tool don't work either.

Dear, Darrell!

A virus alert was noticed on your computer.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: http://security-tool2010.org/Darrell
If you do not pass this test we will have to delete your account and forward a complaint to your ISP with attached log file (your IP address, etc.).

It would be inappropriate for me to speak for the administrator or moderators of this forum, but I feel the need to offer the following.

The link you clicked on may have worked as the originator of the e-mail intended. I encourage you to do a Google search for "security-tool2010.org"

Then find out what you need to do to remove any virus you may have picked up.

Joe

FWIW: I always search for the source on any link I get, especially when it involves a virus or security.
